Getting my wisdom teeth pulled actually helped me quit smoking. I decided to ignore my dentist when she told me to not smoke for atleast 72 hours. Ended up getting a dry socket. After the pain I went through, I never touched a cig again for like 2 years.
I still have all of them. I don't think it's gonna be as bad as people say because I actually enjoy getting my teeth pulled out
Me to, was lucky they growed very fine (vertically) and didnt mess with the alignment of the rest of my teeth.... instead got 4 new kickass molars i probably will be thanking myself for later when i grow old
If they are simple extractions than it should be quick with little swelling. I still have one left that I was told I would need surgery..it's a little more complicated. Two were easy with no swelling. The first was extracted when I was in boot camp since it was infected. My face swelled up and I could not eat solids for almost 2 weeks..while in boot camp. I lost 20lbs practically in those two weeks alone. When I graduated basic training I was a toothpick.
I never had mine taken out. Never had a problem with them. My brother however had the worst experience I've ever seen with them. They compacted so much that they broke inside his gums. They wound up have to open up the gum and go get the pieces. It looked like he had about two dozen wisdom teeth. They were just all broken up.
