Maybe I don't know what to look for to tell if it's fake though
- seems that most people who break down these videos and try to prove them fake ...look at Un natural movement and lighting ( the way light reflects off image while still/ moving is a very important aspect to make it look real)
- (the basic version is) to create a fake eagle/baby.....you have to build a 3D skeleton model for them.....the animate the model to match the movement you want in your video......and thus texture your model ( feathers / skin / eyes...everything etc..etc...).....and the finish ( most important) is the lighting...making the surface reflect light in a correct fashion.
- people look for imperfections in these movements and light to see if it's fake.
- Your brain picksup all sorts of subtle clues that tell you if something is fake or real. Even if we made a perfect CG clone of a human....one slight misplaced movement of the lip or misplaced reflection would trigger your mind to thinks it's fake.
