Eastern conference vs Western conference - 12/13 Version
So how is the east looking vs the west this season?
Some playoff teams in the east look weaker this year then last year.
Indiana lost granger for 3 months, Chicago have rose missing all year, Orlando lost howard, Sixers got bynum over igudola but he is missing out on injury too, Atlanta lost joe jhonson.
As it stands, in 28 games played. Western teams won 17 times over eastern sides whereas eastern teams won 11 times.
western team wins
7 away wins
10 home wins
eastern team wins
3 away wins
8 home wins
2 of eastern sides wins at home were registered by Miami.

Re: Eastern conference vs Western conference - 12/13 Version
I remember the one advantege the East used to have is that it was top heavy ( Miami, Orlando, Chicago, Boston) but that doesn't even apply anymore.
In fact the West not only has better teams but it's also more top heavy (Memphis, Okc, Lac, San An)

I don't understand this, does this mean that the west had a %48 win percentage against the east in 08?
But ironically now the west has a %60 and the east is better than it was in 08 in my opinion

2008 Celtics(66-16) were 25-5 vs the WC.
2008 Pistons(59-23) were 22-8 vs the WC.
That's a 34+ games for those 2 teams alone.
So the fact that the East still only managed to get a 10+(52 win%) games vs WC that season means that the rest of the East(not incl Boston and Detroit) were 24- games vs the West.
