Avery Johnson is a complete retard. It's pathetic that he keeps getting hired to be an NBA head coach. His entire level of basketball insight consists of yelling, "defense guys, defense."

60-116 coaching record in 3 years? Sheeshhhh Nets were too kind to Avery. It was his time to go. Why would go small against Boston knowing that it was your bigs that beat them twice before?

Avery is a pretty shitty coach so Im not surprised. It doesnt really matter who they hire because they are going nowhere. I remember the first couple weeks they were decent and their fans were all hyped about the team

Avery wasn't given a fair shot and I feel bad for him. 28 games is not a fair assessment and by firing him you are basically blaming him for the struggles when it's 99% Deron's fault for sucking complete ass out on the court. Although I was displeased with Avery at times, he needs at least half a season to gel this roster together. Backlash in the NBA has been enormous with even LeBron question why a coach of the month in November gets fired in December. I'm questioning it too.
