Default Larry Bird - Sports Century Video (43:09)

I Think ISH Needs To Show More Respect For Larry Bird and Listen to Watch Magic and Isiah have To Say About Bird in The Initial Parts of the Video

I watched this documentary a few times. My favorite moment in there was when Bird was talking smack to Magic while he was on the bench and he was hurt, saying he is going to put on a show for him. Every time he scored he looked at him.

Larry is scary as fcuk, dude is an absolute assassin on court. In tight game situations I think even MJ feared him (I'm quite exaggerating but you get the picture)

and btw, +future rep

I'm pretty sure on a subconscious level Jordan did fear him, and so did Magic.

He was an ice-cold mofo and could be inhumanly good. I imagine playing against Larry was like playing against some cheat boss character from a video game. Every time the boss character is on about 1% left of his health, he goes on cheat-mode and beats you anyway.

Also aside from being a great player, I think he is a really interesting psychological character. He is that rare person that seems to truly not care what other people think of him.

I think he is one of the most interesting players ever in the NBA. Others I would put in that category are Dennis Rodman, Bill Russell .... who else would you nominate as interesting aside from their athletic accomplishments?

Bill Walton and Jerry West are both very intelligent and interesting former players. I also enjoy interviews with Bob Pettit (very respectful and respected).

"If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save a game I'd choose Michael Jordan; If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save my life...I'd take Larry Bird." - Pat Riley
This kinda gives you an idea about the respect he had from the guys in the league[I sure hope it`s not a made up quote].
