Why not? He's the best player on the best team in the league (statistically). His player efficiency rating is a 26+ ... from a PG standpoint, guy is literally doing it all.

BTW have you been on NBA General recently? Vern's back lol...
Haven't been there in years. Once they changed the format I left. Plus my main name got banned.
Re: Not Sure Why CP3 Isn't Getting More MVP Attention
The Clippers talent works because of Paul. They would be a notch above mediocre if it weren't for Paul. I don't see a Griffin/Crawford tandem making much noise.

Re: Not Sure Why CP3 Isn't Getting More MVP Attention
People bitched about Rose getting the MVP with his stats and leading his team to the best record in the league, I can't imagine the backlash CP3 would get with lesser stats.

Who does Paul have?
Blake, Crawford, and DeAndre?
If the Clippers finish with the best record Paul deserves serious consideration.
Blake Griffin for his minutes is producing better than Bosh or Wade... Chris Paul has more firepower around him than Lebron, all in all they are producing overall more than Lebrons teammates offensively or defensively... Last game Chris Paul for example i think he had 8 pts and 11 assists, if Lebron produced like that Miami would lose more often than not... i can guarantee you that... he needs to do much more than that for his team to win.... Lebron is more valuable, important, impactful player than CP3 is right now or ever was or will be... on both ends...

his team is loaded with talent...the clippers should jave a good record with all that talent.
His team is loaded with a bunch of notorious losers and underachievers. (And Billups, who has played 23 games in the last two seasons combined, 3 this year.)
Re: Not Sure Why CP3 Isn't Getting More MVP Attention
Clippers have also probably the best scoring of the bench, 64 points of the bench last night for example... and its not like CP3 is even in the game when the bench goes in... His team is loaded with firepower....
"This year i have sat out more 4th quarters then ive sat my entire career combined" - Chris Paul after last nights win over Boston
Thats not something Lebron/Durant can say right now... The only time they can sit out 4th quarters only sometimes is after dropping a 20++ point triple double or a 40+ point game as maybe they blew out the other team... in 3 quarters...

How long did it take for you to pry your man pleasing fingers fro. lebri.'s **** so you could type this.
Statistically, CP3 may never even come close to LeBron but as far as impact on the Clippers franchise and creating a culture of winning?
Idk, Paul may be able to do in LA what LeBron was not willing to do in CLE.
Again, seeing as though the only basketball you've experienced is 2k and pickuo games with your scrub friends I understand how you could latch onto the best player in the NBA and hold on for dear life. Those of us that play ball know there is MORE value in a guy that can bring people together for the purpose of winning than a person that outs together sexy stat lines.
