Not that I sympathize with the Cards, not taking a side at all. But if I'm Wisenhunt and a players says this leading into a game and we're out of the playoff hunt? I'd bench him. If you don't care about the team, why should the team care about you?
Re: Beanie Wells says he will use Sunday's game as an audition. So, question:
I think they should bench him because he sucks. And if he believes he isn't a part of the teams future, why not give a young guy a shot and see what he can do? I don't think Beanie will be impressing to many teams though...

Because they're concerned with their own future. I don't know what their roster's like at RB but if a guy isn't any good and won't be there next year there's no reason to play him when you can be trying out someone else.
Re: Beanie Wells says he will use Sunday's game as an audition. So, question:
Injuries have always been the biggest issue for Beanie, dating all the way back to his days in high school at Akron Garfield. The guy is just never healthy. Coming into the league, I felt he had the tools to be a special running back, but it was always prefaced with the invariable "if he stays healthy."
He's always either out of a game with an injury or staggering around, nursing an injury. Guy has only played a handful of games in his entire career, professional or otherwise, at full strength.
I don't know if he is just injury prone or a puss, but he is going to soon find himself out of the league if he doesn't somehow avoid this trend.

I meant give a different young guy a shot. Was confused by your wording.
