The rollercoaster, drama-filled season made me appreciate Romo a great deal. We were in games with a position to win that we had no reason to be in. I am not going to throw him out because he wasn't "clutch" last week because that would mean I would have to throw out all the times he's been "clutch" this year.
I'm more concerned with The Cowboys finally upgrading the pass rush than anything. The defense has no teeth when Koko D. Ware is injured. There are a lot of good 3-4 OLB prospects this year. I'm hoping Dallas snags one.
Come on man, Cowboy fans always have an excuse ready for this guy. I do think he will be back next season for the same reason as you though. There are not many QBs that are available and better than Romo.
Maybe they can trade for Tebow and only use him in week 17
With Romo you can discuss "clutch" and playoff performance etc. because he has proved he's at a level to get you there. Orton is not. To replace Romo with someone basically established as a lower level player is ridiculous and stupid.
