Default Lakers should have never traded bynum for howard

Would be blessing in disguise

Bynum out all year.. PAU plays CENTER who has million post moves and can make plays from there...

J Hill would be enforcer ...

Dont talk about defense cause they are not playing that with howard either

Some are forgetting that they've turned Pau into a 7 foot jump shooter. Yes he can hit them from time to time, but that's not his strength. He also isn't a spot up shooter which is how they seem to be using him for the most part and specially not from the distance that he shoots it from.

They've turned the best post up player in the league into a jump shooter.

Thats my problem... They are putting their eggs in wrong basket...

Kobe was right.... Howard should be tyson chandler... He has zero offensive skills...

Pau should be in post ...period...

Please. Nobody took it worse in the ass than Philly. They traded away the two best players in the deal.

Where have you been? Pau has been a jump shooter since 2011 when PJax was still coaching. He is as much to blame for his soft play as the coaching staff is.

moving Pau to center still won't improve their defense. Laker problems start at perimeter defense. extremely porous. the bigs are taken out of the paint because they have to cover for the lapses of their guards.

and ofc, they still have no solution on how to stop fastbreaks.

Pau should be on the lowpost, all howard should ever do on offense is set picks and crash the boards and use all his energy on D.

His ego won't allow that though.

He really is not good for this team. He is a defensive roleplayer with the attitude of a superstar because SVGs offense inflated his stats.

What excuses is Howard making for his bad offense when reporters question him about it?

Kobe must be so pissed, you can tell how much he wants to call Howard out but can't because he'll get accused of trying to drive him out of town like he did to Shaq

No, they just should've shipped out Pau with Bynum and got Dwight and Iguodala back.

would loved BYnum for Iggy straight up

Dwight is just deadweight for Kobe to carry. I never seen a superstar so giddy to be carried by another man like Dwight howard, this guy doesn't have a winner's mindset. He's a manchild looking for a father figure

Yeah, they'd really be better with neither Bynum or Howard.....oh, and what leads you to believe that D'Antoni would actually let Gasol stay in the post? Nothing suggests that. And if Bynum was playing, then he'd probably struggle even more in D'Antoni's system than Howard has. Then again, if injuries weren't part of the game then Dwight's back wouldn't be an issue. Fact is, Bynum's injuries are much worse than Howard's, and his attitude doesn't seem any better either.

in the ass? uh no. the first is late in a weak draft and iguodala is still better overall than AA. even if you want to call them the same its far far far better than "taking it up the ass" (didnt even mention we dumped harringtons contract too)

iguodala: 13.8 PPG 4.5 APG 5.7 RPG 1.4 SPG 44.9% FG 14.62 PER

afflalo: 17 PPG 2.8 APG 3.8 RPG 0.8 SPG 44.7% FG 13.74 PER
