Some highlights of his game tonight although he barely could talk this morning, probably shouldn't have played and played bad still had some amazing highlights.

Gawdrie with that unbelievable defense vs Pistons tonight! And the worst +/- on the team!

PG Brandon Knight - 7/14, 20 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 turnover
PG Rodney Stuckey - 5/8, 14 points
PG Will Bynum - 3/4, 9 points, 8 assist
SG Kyle Singler - 9/17, 20 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, 3 blocks

But of course it was all because of his "shitty" teammates that an elite Detroit team blew them out. If only Kyrie had those amazing Piston teammates, he could actually playmake then. His defense wasn't an issue either Detroit's backcourt is one of the most explosive and efficient in the league. Kyrie did everything he could, his scrub teammates just disappointed him.

Cavs are a joke.

How do they have an allstar, a guy who was pinned to be an allstar before he got injured and 3 other guys in the rookie/sophmore game and suck so bad?

But you are trolling about Kyrie. He is an excellent scorer but needs to work on his playmaking. The rest of the team is garbage though.

He chose the US before the Olympics so he can't play for Australia anymore.

How are they bad? You serious Clark?

This is the starting five and respective ages...

Kyrie Irving - 20 years old
Dion Waiters - 21 years old
Alonzo Gee - 25 years old
Tristan Thompson - 21 years old
Tyler Zeller - 22 years old

...that's why. Has any other starting lineup ever averaged 22 years old or less? Serious question.

They are 13-34.

I know they are young but 4 of those starting 5 are high lottery picks and the role players aren't that bad.

The banged up Wolves who have been playing with 3 D-League players for half of the season have a better record.

You realize more than half of the players that actually play for the Cavs would still be playing college basketball if they stayed right?

Suns, Wolves, Magic, Wizards, Bobcats are just as bad or worse than Cavs roster wise, as far as veteran leadership, age, talent goes. But you don't hear half the excuses for them.

But yea, keep blaming everyone else for their losses and only praise Kyrie for their wins. Detroit PGs going off was definitely not on Irving, defense and playmaking isn't on Kyrie's resume afterall.

I'm well aware of their record, considering I have watched every game this year. And, "young" doesn't quite describe this roster. The Rockets are young. The Cavs are historically young. Teams with four starters 22 or under don't win in the NBA. Period.

Further, it isn't like they are even the worst team in the East. They are inconsistent and haven't figured out how to close games (lots of close losses this year), but they're on pace for, what? 25 wins? That sounds about right.

Believe it or not, veterans help a team quite a bit. The Cavs have basically none in their rotation.

Starters:
Irving - 20
Waiters - 21
Gee - 25
Thompson - 21
Zeller - 22

Rotational players:
Miles - 25
Speights - 25
Ellington - 25

I guess Shaun Livingston is the team's veteran, but he has barely played in the last, what? Five years?

The team is actually in quite a good spot when you consider young talent already there with obviously Irving, Thompson averaging a double-double at just 21... Other young talent in Waiters and Zeller...

One of the best cap situations in the entire league and tons more picks coming down the line which the team can either use themselves or trade as assets.

I'm pretty optimistic, to be totally honest.
