A player that can create his own shot, has sick handles, and can shoot as well as NBA pure shooters.

Once in a generation type player.

i think kyrie can go down as one of the best all around skilled pg's ever so long as he stays healthy. he's so young with so much game, he's jumped Rose as far as i'm concerned. he's just more unstoppable.

I'm waiting for Rose/Wall/Westbrook fans to argue that their favorite player > Irving at shooting.

He needs to hit the weight room, get a little stronger and be able to take a little bit more hits. Only weakness about his game now is his durability and defense. Maybe even his playmaking abilities.

Maybe a little additional muscle would help, but I would be concerned it may take away from his quickness and agility, which makes him so explosive in getting to the basket.

And, when you really look at it, how would the weight room have helped his injury issues. Here is a quick list of his career injuries:

2010:
*Essentially mild turf toe.

2011:
*Concussion.
*Shoulder issue

2012:
*Broken hand - punched unpadded wall in practice.
*Hairline fractured finger

As far as I can tell, the only injury that extra muscle may have helped with was the shoulder thing last year, and I'm still convinced that was not serious and the Cavs kept him out simply because it was toward the end of the season and there was no reason to risk his future health.

Almost all of his injuries have been of the foot/hand variety.

Also facial fracture this season form falling face first. The point is that none of his injuries are reoccurring issues like back, knee, foot or ankle.

Right. He didn't miss any time due to the facial fracture, though. That's the reason I didn't include it.
