Not a chance. Vick's gone Feb 2 regardless who the coach is.
Why are people operating under the assumption that Kelly is going to try and bring his college playbook to the NFL? Do they honestly think teams are anxious to install a system that's (a) a poor fit for their existing personnel and (b) pretty much been proven to be unsuccessful in the long term at the NFL level?
I don't want Kelly in Philly because I'd prefer a guy with NFL experience. Additionally, Kelly is notorious for disliking the media, which will fly really well in Philly.
I doubt Philly gets him, either. He's going back to Oregon, me thinks. He played the Browns like a fiddle. Haslam and Banner really thought it was a done deal, to the point where they released it to the press that he was signing.
Then, Chip broke out his fiddle. Guy is the Jimi Hendrix of the fiddle.
Just did a quick East Coast fiddle tour... Now back to Oregon.

That is what really hurts. I wanted Marrone as much or more than Kelly. I think he will end up being an excellent coach. Who knows where they look now.

You could pick some Mexican named José who's tattooing teardrops on one of his buddy's faces at some random sidewalk from Cali, give him the gig and he would do a better job.
