Heat in 6 or 7. As long as Perks starting, we're losing to Miami everytime.

I'm going Thunder on this straight trade. I don't doubt Westbrook is probably better at most things than Wade is now sooner or later the young lion always runs off the older one. But he's still not ready for the big fight.

Wade is one of the best finals performers, and never dissapoints. I think Thunder would take it.

westbrook is definitely better than wade by now, and i believe he would play off the ball more and he could average 25+ pts a game. wade would do well in okc as well, definitely a finals rematch.

of course if goatbrook gets traded somewhere, it better not be to miami come to the knicks

Thunder obviously. What is Westbrook better than Wade at? Nothing. Wade would thrive with Durant seeing as he could actually be on the ball, whereas he's reduced to an off the ball player with LeBron. Trading a 40 FG% SG(yes Westbrook is an undersized SG) for a 50 FG% SG? Thunder get considerably better.

Don't know if people are retarded or what here. You guys are honestly taking a 30 year old declined Wade (who is barely a Top 20 player) with no jumpshot and athleticism over 23 year old Westbrook who is a Top 10 player in the league right now?

At this point Westbrook is the better defender, scorer, passer, more durable and athletic as well. Without Lebron spoon feeding Wade easy shots, he has been pretty terrible this year. Westbrook would be a significantly better player with Lebron's elite playmaking and the fastbreak opportunities Miami get with their defense.

Exactly. Heat get better in this trade. Westbrook and Lebron both on the same team to collapse defenses? Add Bosh? Game over. Bring in Wade and you have Reggie Jackson running the point for OKC.

You're my boy and all, but stop. Your Westbrook crush has got to go, I remember in a thread recently you called him an elite defender. He just gambles like a prime AI on defense. Hardly a lock down defender.

As for Wade? He's better than Westbrook has ever been. Even at 30, he isn't THAT "old". Has he declined a tad? Of course, but his basketball skills are still superior to Westbrook, not to mention an IQ and mentality that is superior.

Wade hasn't declined that much, he's coasting, and playing a DELIBERATE 2nd fiddle to James, in order to give LeBron confidence, and to give the Miami Heat a true hierarchy that it needed in order to win it all and get over the mountain top.

As a player, I still take Wade over Westbrook. He's chillin, splitting minutes with Ray Allen, gives the majority of ball handling duties to Bron, and is putting up nice numbers on GREAT efficiency.

LMAO @ Bron "spoon feeding" Wade shots. Wade's decline is severely overstated on ISH. And garbage posts like these just play into the myth. You don't drop 40 in the playoffs if you have nothing in the tank. Wade has never needed someone to create for him, and it isn't that way now, either.

Westbrook benefits from having the ball in his hands much of the time for OKC. He wouldn't be NEAR as effective, let alone as effective as Wade playing OFF the ball. Conversely on the Thunder Wade would be way more effective getting to be the primary ball handler the way he was in Miami up until the 2012 season.

If you switch up the two, Thunder get better, Heat get a little worse. Although Westbrook could play SG on the Heat, and then only his positives would be brought to the team and none of his BONEHEAD decision making at PG because LeBron would be running the show as quarterback of the offense.

Westbrook to me is arguably even a worse shooter than Wade. And given I've seen Wade shoulder a team completely on his back, with no other superstar sidetracking defenses, unlike Westbrook. I still trust Wade as the superior player.
