Dont miss understand me. We need Jkidd if the Knicks will advance. Prigi will fold under that pressure and spot light.
Prig put up some solid minutes last night against a very good Spurs team. Consistency is the big thing for him. JKidd has really helped us take care of the basketball so far this season but it seems the turnovers have been up lately.
At the end of the day I thought he was going to Bibby 2.0. He has far exceeded my expectations.

Nah he had a good game last night because they didnt pressure the ball. I guess because 4 games in 4 nights they didnt want to gas the Spurs players.
Prigi will look just as bad as Lin if not worse in the playoffs. He needs to get his game together before then. He isnt trustworthy with the rock.

You guys are wrong to worry about pg minutes. Shumpert will play- and should play as many pg minutes as they can get him.
If you are going to finish with shumpert/smith/Carmelo why wouldn't you start them together and get them used to playing with each other. The role players should fit around those 3 not the other way around.

You may be new to this but Shump isnt a PG he played his worse ball from that position.

You may over estimate "positions". Yeah if he is required to do all of the playmaking maybe that's too much to ask- but on the court with Carmelo and jr?
I don't think the shumpert at pg idea should be thrown out just based off the mess that was last year.
Positions are defensive- I like shumpert covering guards even more than wings.

Realistically shump, jr, melo wont be on the floor together aside from the 4th quarter most likely. Shump is a SG that has handles but he doesnt have the necessary skills to create for others. Unless a miracle happened in the past 7 months where he found those skills and a jumper.
