I think they must be having an unaired behind the scenes game show once a month where they bring in 5 unsigned FA's or D-Leaguers and have them play a series of whacky games in front of a live studio audience. High score gets the 13th roster spot for the month.

Mike James has been with so many teams I wouldn't be surprised if he played a game for the Arizona Diamondbacks or Buffalo Bills.

Surely this can't be the Mike James that i'm thinking of. Is this an unheard of European Mike James? A standout Mike James in the D-League?

edit: LOL, I just clicked on it and saw that he IS actually playing in the d-league currently. That's hilarious. It's only a 10 day contract though, not newsworthy. They're hoping he can call upon his inner Jerry Stackhouse probably.

I thought the same thing when I heard this. I figured it was some 23 year old undrafted guy from BFE University that we have never heard of. Nope. It's Mike James.
