If you could have one player start their career again from today...
...who would you pick?

Vince Carter. So he can team up with a second option and wing a ring.

Jordan will be most peoples answer. I'll choose Russell so we can see how his game would adjust to today's NBA and properly rate him all time.

I say either MJ, Kareem or Hakeem.
MJ because, hey, it's the GOAT.
Kareem because it boggles the mind how unstoppable the skyhook would be today,
Hakeem simply because I loved his game aesthetics.
I'd also have loved to see how Larry Bird would match up against guys like Durant/Lebron; Magic just because.
Throw in Wilt/Russell to see if they could be as dominant as they were. Heck I'd love to have them all.

kobe.... looking at his 30/5/5 average with half athleticism and a fragile old body.
he'd average 40/5/5 in his prime with this new era

I'd pick Wilt, simply to see this guy from the 60s dominate. Or not. But would.
I think any old big would be great to watch though Kareem, Ewing, Hakeem, Robinson, even Shaq (show Dwight how its done!).

I'd say Vince Carter too, but only because I miss those days where I could turn on highlights the next morning and know there's a good chance Vince Carter may have performed a dunk we'd never seen before.

I'd love to see what Wilt would do in today's NBA.
