Just....

I don't even know how to respond to the stupidity of this post because OKC fans weren't saying Martin is as good or better than Harden.

I don't think anyone ever thought they were equal talents. Just that the Thunder could survive without him and it made sense for them to trade him because of financial reason.

I'm going to assume 99% of OKC fans would still rather have Harden over Martin, however, OKC got a pretty decent trade in return for someone they wouldnt of been able to resign.

Not to mention OKC has I think the 2nd or 3rd highest scoring offense in the league, and I'm pretty sure it's they're the most efficient offense in the league. What some OKC fans have started to say is that Martin might be a better fit alongside Westbrook and Durant because he doesn't need the ball nearly as much as Harden did to get his points.

The only teams that financially can just say "**** the cap" year after year are the Lakers and the Knicks. Everyone else has the misfortunate of trying to win on a budget.

I feel the pain of OKC fans, this is your best chance at contending for a title and your owner trades your 2nd/3rd best player away to save money.

Just because you keep posting this same thing over and over and over and over, doesn't mean it's going to eventually be true.

of course it will. the grizzlies did beat the clippers in the 2012 playoffs. he just thought it would be a sweep, and then 5 games, and then 6 games and then 7.

When the trade happened you were backing the trade saying it wasn't a big deal cause you wouldn't lose scoring, too bad Harden is dynamic and Kevin Martin is a spot up 3 point shooter

I guess you're right. He kept picking the Thunder to lose every series in the playoffs and was eventually right in the Finals.

Meh bump the trade thread I am not going to spend 10 mins looking for it. OKC fans were acting like it wasn't a big deal at all and they would be in the finals again with Kevin Martin.
