The "MVP" with a big error and then blowing a stop sign to get gunned out easily at home. And then he grounds into a double play with 1st and 3rd with 0 outs. Real MVP performance. Give me Trout all day.

I would love to see the Tigers in World Series but Fielder is trying very hard not to be there.

Boston is lucky they're playing Detroit. They play anyone else, they lose this series.

Not really, i think the A's would of lost 2 starters due to arm issues if they advanced.

Would feel a lot better if the Sox did not have to go through Scherzer and Verlander to get to the Series. I guess the one good thing is that every arm besides Buchholz can be available to pitch in game 7. Hopefully we don't need 7.

Trout is the best player in the league and should be the MVP. But not because of one game or even a bunch of games. He's proven that over 2 seasons now.

That was a brutal all-around game by Cabrera though.

Agreed. That performance was just a nice example to poke fun at him.

Trout is : 1. not injured, 2. never been in the playoffs. Cause we all know how well first timers perform in the playoffs NOT - based on regular season play.

I am not excusing Cabrera's postseason play as of late but to hammer him on it and compare it to a guy who is not playing in the post season nor has he ever tasted post season play is ridiculous.

Fun fact:

Trout was amongst the most unclutch players in the league this year in high pressure situations.

You left off #3, that he's a better player and the actual MVP. And Evan Longoria did pretty damn well in his 1st playoff appearance after a great rookie season and he's not even close to the hitter that Trout is.
