Ump Show in Pittsburgh - John Hirshback threw out Bryce Harper after instigating a confrontation with Harper. He ejected him for dropping his helmet. Umpires are so fvcking ridiculous sometimes. I wish MLB would severely punish Umps who act and do shit as ridiculous as this.

the phillies are done, it's time to start selling these guys off (rollins, lee, utley, m.young, d.young) and get as many prospects as you can and throw them all at the marlins for giancarlo stanton(one can dream right?)

Would be nice but no way is management throwing all those players at a division rival.

I know the whole trading for Stanton thing is a joke, but I'm wondering if him getting hurt is hurting his trade value. He missed a month last year, going to miss at least a month this year and has had a couple of small nagging knee issues through his career.

That is absolutely a case of that ump thinking he needs to put a 20-year-old superstar in his place. Nothing more. Just ridiculous. Harper just said "there's no ****ing way" and ump went absolutely insane. "WHAT?! WHAT?"

Really?

The joke being trading him to Philly for old parts. I can definitely see him going somewhere else at some point.

I feel bad for Halladay. Allowing 9 runs to the Stanton-less Marlins. Excavators had 7 RUN

I think Verlander's pitch count is too high to make it the next three. Gonna need a quick inning in there.

Maybe. I think he's got an outside shot. 135-140 is about the max right?
