FYI Jays fans, Shaun f*cking Marcum set a career record in strikeouts against the Braves lineup tonight.

FYI Braves fans, your team will facing Buehrle (he of the 84 MPH fastball) and a reliever getting a spot start in this series.

The Reds/Tribe home and home series this week should be awesome. Usually, one or the other sucks, but this year, both are good. Cincinnati will get Cleveland's best shot, as they are probably feeling pretty motivated after losing their last 3 in Boston.

I've seen the series in both cities. Always a fun atmosphere, though it lacks the intensity of Bengals/Browns, where the fans don't really get along too well in some cases.

I'd still like to see Chapman get the Greinke treatment from when he hit McCutchen in the upper back with two outs in the bottom of the 9th up 3 runs.

Also, it is crazy to me the a guy like Jose Valverde is a professional athlete. His body composition is similar to my 60 year old father's.

It's even crazier that David Ortiz is a pro athlete on steroids and has his body comp

Overstatement of monumental proportions. He's hardly an athlete at all.

It's nice to not have to use a single useful relief pitcher and still win a Mark Buehrle start.

Doesnt change the fact that he throws a fastball in the 90s and gets paid for it.

ugh.

In the last 11 games, Indians relievers have allowed 28 runs in 35 1/3 innings for a 7.13 ERA. In that stretch, they have converted just one of seven save opportunities.
