Such an odd game too. Archer out after 30 pitches, Myers pulled with 2 on in a 3 run game when he's raking. Not good.

What exactly happened to Myers? I saw he left game, but didn't see anything about an injury anywhere.

Rays announcers said he has asthma.

The NL East is so bad that I think the Braves could go something like 12-35 in their last 47 games and still win the division. I'm not sure anyone else in the division will finish .500 or better, and all Atlanta needs is 12 more wins to assure themselves a +.500 record.

They've been running like crazy since the all star break / when they moved Martin up. Martin and elvis have both been running a lot for the last couple weeks. (and damn does Elvis need to, that 247/318/302 triple slash line he had going into last night is UGLY)

You mean the Rays are overrated? Don't want to be a prick here but failing against the snakes? Good luck in game 1, cause game 2,3 are going to be hard as hell to win against the Dodgers. Plus that showing against the Giants...ugh...

Failing against our division rivals just angers our Dodgers - makes it easier for the Sox.

DBags putting up a fight.....useless.

It is still a little hard for me to let it sink in that the Pirates are actually a good team. I'm used to it being a fluke that crumbles down the stretch but it definitely looks like the Pirates will be hanging around with the Cardinals at the top of the division at the end of the year.

I've hated on management plenty over the years but I have to give props for the moves we have put together over the past year or two to build the bullpen we have along with the value we have added in FA.

Flip a coin - literally.

Both fantastic seasons that rival any of the great pitching seasons of the past 10 years.

Wat? You watch this team play this year? They're definitely not overrated.

I have, a little bit. We'll see tomorrow for sure. Our Dodgers get home at 6:30 AM and play at 7:10PM. If you guys can't win against Capuano then forget about winning the series.

Cards go down - another Dodger casualty since the stone age.

The LA arrogance is strong here.

33-8 agrees with me. People get caught up being "classy". At the end of the day you want your team to murder the competition. Why sugarcoat it?

Plus it feels good......not too long ago nobody gave a sh1t about the Dodgers.

Fake Good luck tomorrow
