No. And even though you didn't ask, I didn't think he was a great player, either.

He's the white Isiah. Good drafter, bad everywhere else.

Ainge is awesome. He took a team of Pierce, Walker and assorted trinkets and assembled a roster full of valued young talent. The Wally trade is a little questionable but other than that I have little to complain about.

You are the worst team in the league.

I like most of the draft picks but the trades have been up and down. Getting Ricky Davis for Eric Williams, for example, was very good...but the way things have gone with Telfair, him becoming the third-string pg, I can't say that that was a good trade. The year shaved by shipping off LaFrentz for Ratliff isn't worth it. Also, Doc Rivers may not have been the best hire (yes, I'm trying to be very nice). I don't think the Cs should be massively firing people right now because the season has been derailed by injuries to several important players. But if they don't make the playoffs next year, assuming Pierce and Jefferson stay healthy, changes should be made..

That's because of injuries, in case you didn't notice.

it's funny how everyone thinks a team overhaul or a coaches head is the cure for a bad season. sometimes it takes time for the chemistry to gel and when the team is rampent with injuries that time is just exteneded...

Even without the injuries, the Celts still weren't all that great.

But, speaking of Ainge, there's an article about the situation in Boston on Yahoo Sports. Take a look...
