from 2006-present there has been nothing but soulja boy and gucci mane

i like kid cudi's man on the moon album because his lyrics are deep(if you listen to them).

Your first sentence you say there has been nothing but soulja boy-esque shallow music from 2006-present, and in your second sentence you go on to name an artist that is the antitheses of soulja boy, who has released an album and a couple of mixtapes in that same time period.

That would be like saying "from 2006-present there has been nothing but transformers and remakes

I like Hurt Locker (or whatever) because the imagery is deep (if you understand it)."

I'm glad someone posted this song, cause of death is another good one by him, caught in a hustle, dance with the devil (not really a life lesson in there but this song will make you say god damn), Harlem streets as well.

People under the stairs - acid rain drops (good positive message)

Dead Prez - They' schools, police state, animal in man (amazing concept), list goes on

Lupe - dumb it down, little weapon, the die (notice the sarcasm)

edit: Jedi Mind Tricks - uncommon valor

**** it I'm done, not like anyone's even gonna listen.
