How many years will it take the Cincinnati Bengals to win a playoff game? We seem to manage alright every other season or so, winning roughly 9-11 games and entry via wild-card or occasionally as NFC North champions, but never even really sniff at winning an actual playoff game.
Does Marvin Lewis need to go? It's unfortunate we play in the same division as the Steelers and Ravens, because they're two of the more consistently winning franchises out there, not to mention it looks like Cleveland is positioning themselves to improve going forward.
I realize being a fan of say Buffalo or Oakland appears more frustrating, but being a Bengals fan isn't far from it.
He has too. There is a cap floor now, so the majority of that money has to be spent.
I'm just saying Mike Brown is going to do as little as possible when it comes to opening the checkbook. In the afterlife, isn't going to be much of a happy family reunion; pappa Paul going to take a belt to his son's ass.
Trent Dilfer won an SB. Plus it's wrong to put such a limit on a talented young QB.
Dalton took them to the playoffs two straight seasons, and he's only been in the league those two seasons. He has one of the best WRs in the game, and IMO > Fitz. I think the more accurate statement is the Bengals can't win a SB until Marvin Lewis is out of Cincy.
It's a pipe dream, but Marv should be the GM, And mike zimmer should be the head coach.
I gives Lewis credit for helping turn this organization around, and he has played a large role in the influx of talent. Problem is, he's a god awful game manager, and doesn't make in-game adjustments.
10 years in, and zero playoff wins. All with the same team, a feat that has never been done before. It's time to go.
In the draft, this team needs some interior o line and secondary help. Dalton needs to improve on his deep ball, and he fell off in the second half of the season, but I believe in him going forward.
