I thought Durant was having a ho-hum sub-par game by his standards. Then, I think after either a jumper or that driving layup to start the fourth when the announcers said Durant had another 30 point game, I had to check the boxscore for myself. He just took over and killed Phoenix in the fourth. Westbrook did the same in the third.

Westbrook had 36 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, 1 turnover, on 14/24 shooting. That was his best game of the season.

Yeah, he had a chest contusion which is just fancy talk for chest bruise. Usually that's not too serious from what I understand but who knows.

Tonight reminded me of a stretch last year where it seemed like once or twice every five games or so, Durant and Westbrook combined for 65-75 points while both shot 50% or better from the floor. They scored all but four of OKC's 51 second half points. Just one if those nights that basically can be boiled down to OKC has Durant and Westbrook and the other team doesn't.
