Default Your top games for 2012

What are your top games released in 2012? Here's my top 8 that I completed:

1. Mass Effect 3
2. The Walking Dead
3. Max Payne 3
4. Spec Ops: The Line
5. Resident Evil 6
6. Sleeping Dogs
7. Ghost Recon Future Soldier
8. Resident Evil: Raccoon City

I excluded Borderlands 2 because I'm only about 20% done with it. Halo 4 and Farcry 3 were excluded because I haven't started playing them yet.

The only game I completed was Sleeping Dogs. It still would have been my #1 even if I finished all the other stuff that came out this year. 2nd would have been Xcom.

ACIII.

Sleeping Dogs is pretty much neck and neck. I need to get my Sleeping Dogs back from my buddy so I can pull down some of the DLC.

And The Walking Dead. I'm not even sure how to fully describe that game, other than the fact that it was a riveting experience.

I really didn't play that much.

I simply couldn't get into RE6, which was a huge disappointment.

And I just haven't started Hitman yet.

I really played a lot more games than usual this year.

ACIII
Sleeping Dogs
The Walking Dead
Mass Effect 3
Dishonored
NBA 2k13
Skyrim? Not sure about the release date, but I played it only this year.

..
..
..

Prototype 2

..
..
..

Just started Far Cry 3 and Hitman Absolution. Will probably rank them pretty high.

NBA 2K13. Yes, the game is frustrating, but it's the main one I play. Rented Far Cry 3 for like a week. Great game too.

Most of my favorite games that I played this year are older game. Persona 3, Lost Odyssey, and Dragon Quest 9 would probably be my top three, and the ones I put the most time into.

As for games that came out this year, there's a few I enjoyed though I'm not entirely sure how I'd rank them:

Journey
The Walking Dead
Trial Evolution
Borderlands 2
Fez
Gotham City Impostors
Crashmo
FTL
Tokyo Jungle
Spec Ops

I haven't really put much time into Black Ops 2 or Mass Effect 3, and I haven't even picked up Halo 4 yet. Also really need to try out XCOM at some point.

I've got so much older stuff to get through, I barely play anything when it is current. However, I did have a blast playing Awesomenauts.
