Warriors aren't making the playoffs, Lee no all star, and LAKERS will Make it
It's heartbreaking to watch, I can see the Warriors falling apart right in front of my own eyes. I don't know why people think they are still going to make the playoffs. I want them to but I have to be honest with myself. All it takes is a couple of bad weeks of bball and you are all the way at the bottom. The schedule only gets tougher for the Dubs. 3 of their next 4 games are against the Spurs, the Thunder, and The Clippers. They just can't beat these teams.
Then there is Steph Curry. He hurt his surgically repaired ankle. Yes, again. It never ends with Steph. Even if he's able to play, it will affect his overall performance.
David Lee won't make the all star team. Because the Warriors have a bunch of hard games coming up, they are going to drop in standings. Now coaches can say that the Warriors don't look good and have a slightly better than mediocre record. Therefore, Lee's numbers still don't deserve recognition. And either Faried, Iggy, Danillo, Gay, or Marc Gasol will take his spot.
Or.. it could be a matter of them choosing Steph or Lee because they feel the Warriors should have only one all star. People saw how bad the Warriors played without Steph tonight and will argue that Steph deserves it because the dubs play much better with him. Then he could be the guy that steals Lee's spot. I do know that Lee won't make it, just will be interesting to see who it is that steals his spot.
It's nice to fantasize about the Lakers not making the playoffs. That's fantasy. It helps us sleep at night, it makes us feel blissful. Our food starts tasting better, sex feels better, our showers feel more relaxing. Yes, life is much better for many of us when the Lakers are losing. However we have to get back to reality. They have 4 hall of famers plus World Peace.
Sometimes, destiny in the NBA tends to do what it wants.

How do you know? Rick Bucher keeps reporting that Steph might take Lee's spot. It will come down to a choice of which one Jackson wants to send. But that is assuming that we even have that luxury. How do YOU know lee will be an all star?
