And it should be the other way around. Reforming gun laws is only part of the solution. But it is PART of it.

Muslims are standing up to the radicals and as a result many muslims have died. Radical islam has killed far more muslims than any other group

Radicals making the headlines might have more to do with where you get you news from than the actual facts on the ground.

A better solution would be harsher penalties on careless adults who don't secure their guns or longer sentencing for illegal gun ownership.

You're not even going after the real problem; basically if someone were to drive drunk, you would blame alcohol or driving rather than the real problem at hand.
