Default The Lakers will be ok if the next couple of games go like this....

Raptors W 18 - 22

Chicago They split these games
Memphis 19 - 23

Jazz W 20 - 23
Thunder L 20 - 24
Hornets W 21 - 24
Sun W 22 - 24
T Wolves W 23 - 24
Pistons W 24 - 24

Nets They split these games
Celtics 25 - 25

If they are at least at .500 by this point all might be well for their playoff hopes. If they are below .500 after they face the Celtics the season is over.

They'll beat Chicago but lose to Memphis. Are they in Utah? If they are, they'll probably lose that one too. I could see them winning the rest.

Its sad how bad the Lakers are getting disrespected. I personally believe the Lakers have it in them to beat the Raptors.

They are at home against Utah, Thunder, and Hornets.

Lakers played Miami at their best, and almost won. OK, Bosh could have shot better, but Lebron and Wade had their best games of the season and the Miami team as a whole played their best defense in the season so far. Not bad for the Lakers to keep up and almost win.

I agree but with the season the Lakers are having they don't need morale victories.

This coming up stretch of road games is crucial.
They need to win the games they are suppose to win and shock a team like the Thunder etc.

Lakers brought their level of play up for the Heat, but their problem is consistent effort, shot selection and defense.

No one doubts what their team is capable of. That's why people had them as favorites going into the season. It shouldn't surprise anybody they can give the Heat a lot of trouble even when Miami plays hard.

So true if Lakers play every team in the next stretch they'll be fine. If it wasn't for turnovers and Miami scoring waaaaay to easily in transition they would have won the game handily even with Kobe's poor shooting.

Also add the fact that this team as a line up with everyone healthy (with out Blake and Hill) has only played a total of 10 games together.

Has not been a pretty season but they have a lot of room for growth as a team.

You're assuming they beat every mediocre team. i bet they lose at least 1 to raptors, jazz, hornets, suns, t-wolves, pistons.
