Bargnani is truly the anti-mvp. No other player can make a team improve so drastically just by being absent. If you remove the scrubbiest of the scrubs from their teams that wont change their record and other cancers like demarcus cousins at least contribute on the court

I hope you're right. I also hope Colangelo isn't given another chance either. I'm liking this team; Ed, Demar, and Terrence are young and skilled and like being here. Gives hope for the future.
If that's the core your banking on for future success then prepare to be very disappointed.
Do you see any 3 of those guys being solid staters on a good team now or in the future? I sure don't and I'm a big Ed Davis fan who has been pushing for his playing time ever since he came to Toronto.

I could see all 3 in particular Ed and Ross fitting in on teams like the Warriors, Spurs, Clippers amongst and other good teams and DD is already a solid player. Non would be the main guy but solid/good players why not?

So 3 solid bench players. Awesome. Now all the Raptors need is to find 5 guys that you can give 30-35 minutes per game to.
The Raptors core needs a superstar player or 2 or 2-3 very good players to be true contenders.
I just wish the Raptors had the payroll for that.
They could if they didn't hand out tons of money to should-be-bench-players like Bargnani, Derozan, Johnson, Kleiza and Fields. If you're a mediocre player, come to Toronto, say you love the city and you will be rewarded with a nice contract.
I like Davis and Ross but they are still missing a star player or two. I see Davis/Ross developing into solid to good starters but not necessarily all-star caliber. As for Andrea i haven't like much of what I've seen from him in his career, but it seemed like he was starting to turn it around prior to getting injured last season.
