PG - Stockton (ultimate pass-first PG, great defender)
SG - Kobe ('06)
SF - Pippen (GOAT perimeter defender, doesnt need the ball to be effective)
PF - Rasheed (skilled scorer and great defender in prime)
C - Mutombo (DPOY defender and elite rebounder, better than my other choice Big Ben).
P.S. Lebron isnt ranked so high All-time, not yet.
+ a shooter and a big who can either hit the midrange or post up.
Hell, the '04-'05 Pacers. Replace Steven Jackson with Kobe.
The Chalmers/Rice/KG/Chandler was my favorite; Rice was a good, reasonable choice. Make it '08 KG and you're good to go due to "stipulations."
Prime Brad Daugherty would be perfect on the Lakers with Kobe, with his passing ability, finesse moves, and the mid-range jumper, would be amazing. His skill set somehow seems tailor made for triangle.
Like Pau, Daugherty was called the best passing big man in the league, both have a very high bball IQ. Pau has more range on his shot, but Brad was a better post scorer. Both had "softness" issues at times, Pau against any decent physical team, Daugherty against the Bulls "muscle" rotation of King/Cartwright (along with Grant too). Gasol's length allows him to block more shots, but I wouldn't call him a better defensive player than Daugherty (who wasn't great by any means, but wouldn't get eaten alive defensively at the rate Gasol does by physical players). Statistically they are basically dead even (Daugherty a 22/10/4 on 57% guy, Gasol a 21/10/3 on 54% guy, though Daugherty in a tougher league big-men wise).
