He's finally turned the corner and matured, making him the player we always thought he would be.
Can we stop with this notion every time he has a hot stretch of games? The guy will never be an MVP quality player and he has been inferior to LeBron/Durant. As a matter of fact, LeBron and Durant were better at 21 than Melo is now.
The guy is shooting below 40% in the month of January yet he's shooting 26 times a game. Please.
He's expected to shoot a lot. He's in a slump, no big deal. You really don't seem to have a clue about the Knicks. You called his play prior to this recent slump a hot streak which just proves you're only looking at the stats. He's simply looked like a better player than before most of the season.
Doesn't take away from him having probably the best season of his career, which has been good enough to have him either 3rd or 4th in the MVP race at the same time peak LeBron, prime Durant, and prime Chris Paul are in the league. He's been really, really good this year.
