He's a good player but you're crazy if you think he's an MVP of the NBA. He probably deserves as much as James Harden does. Carmelo scores a lot and that's great but he's not asked to do much else.
His teammates get a lot of open shots when Melo is doubled. Even tonight when he played terribly, his teammates got a lot of open looks thanks to the attention Melo receives. And while Felton was out, Melo was asked to do a lot of the playmaking in addition to carrying the scoring load.
I'd have him 3rd behind Durant and Lebron.
