Default Rubio's knee slowness shows against Bobcats

Since Rubio has returned it is clear his quickness has.... not disappeared, but it definitely comes in flashes instead of the blistering lateral flair he showed last year.
I think this slower movement has forced him to take many more shots than he would like, and when combined with the outrageous number of injuries the Wolves are dealing with, he's really having a hard time with it.

Last season he was able to slow down & occasionally even contain guys like CP3 and Westbrook. But this season even guys with small offensive arsenal like Kemba Walker are able to turn a corner on Rubio's defense; which shows how much slower his lateral is right now.
It seems like it often takes 12 to 18 months after ACL surgery to fully recover. Hopefully he'll get full recovery of that knee!!
He finally made a freaking 3!

I think with Rubio, right now it's more mental than anything. It takes time. He might find his rhythm again at season's end.

Considering the amount of games he missed and the bad record of the Wolves(mostly due to injuries) this season is a wash for him. I wasn't really expecting anything from him this year and it's good that he's getting the rust out now.

Hopefully he's 100% next year so the Wolves can actually make a playoff run.

if they can ever get past all these injuries they really do have a great collection of talent. I hated seeing Josh Howard go out he was really doing a great job and same with Brandon Roy.... and Chase Budinger...... and Malcolm Lee.......

ACL injuries should be illegal!!
