This should be a very easy 20 point romping by the sophomore team. Kyrie,Klay, Kawhi, Parsons, and Vucevic will likely be the starting unit.

rookies have the better front line. Anthony Davis +Andre Drummond would be the best defensive frontline in the nba.

The way Jimmy Butler has been playing, could make an appearance, and isn't the same set up as last year, with Charles and Shaq picking the teams? So it won't be rookies vs sophs

you're mentioning defense in an all star game? you've watched this before, right? it's 100% offensive, -10% defense.

Still, Kyrie and Klay are probably better than Kyrie and Steph. too lethal of a back court.

Unless Beal and Lillard rain 3s like there's no tomorrow, the Sophomores should have it easily.

If it was a competitive game where defense was played, it'd be a different story.

you guys seem to forget the 2005 ASG where the east subs came in down 17? and won it for the east because all 5 guys played hard D. Granted, it was the pistons and Paul Pierce, but still one of the more entertaining ASGs in recent memory IMO.

ASG sucks. No one really cares, so its passionless showboating. I would much rather have it have some sort of impact, because it would be incredible to actually see these squads go at each other. end rant.

also, dont really care about the rookie soph game.

That's the ASG.

The Rookie-Sophomore game has even less defense.

Yeah you're right. He was the odd man out. I guess if you take team records he should get the nod over Waiters but I don't think they care as much that for rookie/sophomore.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised. I was just guessing the players who should be picked.

Rubio should be there. Even if he doesn't deserve it based on numbers, his entertainment value is huge.
