So you want them to take on a boatload of bad contracts so they'll be bad for years to come? Good idea.

If we're blowing it up we'd be keeping Bradley/Sully/Melo...

Co-sign.

Losing my young star for the season is obvious reason to look long-term and say "**** you".

Obviously complicated trades like this almost never happen... But I'll entertain the idea.

BOS: I get that they get some young talent, but they're taking back Hedo's crappy contract (even if it's only another year) and Gallo is getting paid quite a bit. Pierce isn't guaranteed next season (so his contract is really good because you can choose to keep him or not), KG has a kinda big deal but it's not what I'd call "bad" and yes Green's contract is bad. They also give up Sullinger and Bradley which seems extrememly counter-productive. I don't see them doing it without some really good picks (from Orlando I'd assume, but ORL wouldn't do that!)

MIL: Pretty great for them. Ellis for Pierce works because they need PP more and like I said earlier, Pierce has a nice contract. They also get Bradley which is really nice. And Fab Melo is nothing to scoff at. Ilyasova has been underwhelming after his big contract so I'd imagine they'd do this trade.

ORL: Right now I doubt they dump Vucevic because he's played really nice... even if they get to dump Turk. Also Ellis is nice for them, but he could just walk at the end of the year. I don't think they'd do it.

DEN: KG would be nice on Denver, but do you really want to send the Manimal to the bench? If not then you start KG at C and run a pretty damn small line up. He would probably whip Javale in shape though. It sucks for them to lose Gallo, but JJ is so perfect for them. I mean between Iggy and Chandler at SF, I think JJ is a much better fit for them (assuming they could re-sign him). So I say a yes from them.

When you blow it up you take on small contracts or expirers and picks. Not 4 year contracts on marginal players

Let me entertain.

Boston gives up a bunch of young talent, their legend and best player, a defensive monster who is worth his contract, all to make up for losing Rondo for this season? Yet, they get worse now and they're tied up over the next few years.

They get a C in Mozgov...FINALLY...and one in Vucevic! And they give up their young stud PF, bring in Turkoglu to play 6th man, Gallo to replace Pierce, and Ersan is the starting PF...they give up the best full-court defender in the league, who is still on his rookie contract. They get talent in Randolph that they won't use this year and will expire at the end of the season.

Orlando gives up their center and brings in a PF, to go along with Glen Davis, Al Harrington, and their rookie PF. They get Green as a centerpiece and Ellis is their best player, without any leader at the top.

Denver get Kevin Garnett, who they don't need. They get Bass, who they need less. They give Brewer, who is perfect for them, and bring in Redick, who fits but leaves them without the defense that Brewer brings. They give up TWO centers. Absolutely awesome.

Milwaukee gives up two players to get back FOUR...a monster defensive player on his rookie contract, a rookie big, an all-around quality SG in his prime, and the single best player in the trade.
