Kaerpenick is dynamic, he will turn it over but he also will make plays. I think a HUGE positive is how he didn't rely on the run after the Packer game at all. He's real. We (at least I) were wrong about the Smith change. Totally 100% wrong wrong wrong.
Knickballer your team is really good and young. Nice position to be in.
It's going to be interesting to see how the pistol is used in the future. Is it going to be sustainable or is it going to be exposed like the Wildcat? I'm not sold on the longevity of the system and I think with a offseason to prepare coaches will tinker and find a solution.
Kaepernick led the team to the Superbowl(close to winning) so it's definitely a good choice. I still think Smith would've led the niners to the Superbowl but with less "swag", people seem to think he's a retard playing QB or something.

Yeah, but he is probably (and im not saying this lightly) the best coach at talent evaluation and teaching young players in the league. The other stuff can be fixed.

I'm not sure on Smith but i get why they made the change now. I think Harbaugh did not embrace it enough though, at times he didn't allow him to do so much, which made me wonder what was the point?
I don't think the pistol has any longevity personally (did you see Ngata clock Kaepernick after a toss? You don't need that.) But i don't think the 49ers need it to be succesful either.
Harbaugh argues every call like it's the worst call ever. He throws things, runs after the refs. When you get to a crucial moment and you want the benefit of the doubt, it's a bad look. Some of the Giants said when Coughlin was like this that it distracted them. I think he needs to mature a bit, but a loss like this does a lot of maturing very very quick.
49ers will be in the title game for years to come if they are smart.

Harbough doesn't run the offense that's on Greg Roman and he's considered a conservative coach.
This is nothing compared to the inadequacy of the previous coaching regimes..

Oh man when I remember Mike . That guy was horrible. On nfl all access all he would say 'make a play young blood'. And he almost never had his mic down. The man is a good motivator but a head coach needs a lot more than that.

I saw Kaepernick get hit a few times but alot of the times it was at the expense of the defense. I saw a few LB's rush the shit out of the play and just run at Kaepernick with Gore having ample running space.
I don't think it will work because it's a college and high school type of offense. Teams will get their players, find the right strategy and implement the right style to stop it. If I was a team I'd run a 3-5 against it with the D-linemen crashing in.

Ultimately though you don't want your franchise QB getting hit because those hits add up. Like RG3, i remember against the giants we hit him but he'd bounce, make plays. It was great. until he was beaten up and throwing the ball away and ultimately the accumulation broke him down.
Kaepernick i think becomes Steve Youngish. He runs when he needs to ,and when he's done he's sick. I don't want to take away his scrambling. I want to take away the designed runs 10 times a game. That's going to get him hurt sooner or later, historically it pretty much always does.
Scrambling QB's have won super bowls, running QB's have never done so.
