People need to get off of this shit, first when it looked like 49ers would win everyone wanted to blame the delay (instead of credit them for being beasts) and then when Baltimore stops them (where SF had 4 downs btw...) it's the refs fault. Bitch whine Bitch whine.
I don't even remember that play. This is the superbowl man.
SF had their chances. It was a game of missed opportunities. That timeout Kap wasted game back to bite them as well.

It was same thing, it was fourth down, the falcons had four chances, the call wasn't made, 49ers won, too ****ing bad for falcons. If call is made, 49ers are not even in Superbowl.
you can't pick and choose which borderline plays you call. On 4th down they don't call incidental things.
Re: Official Super Bowl Game Thread - Baltimore vs. SF
Why are people acting like the pistol is some sort of gimmick? It's a flexible formation. The only thing I can see against it is if teams are too worried about the QB getting injured.

Because people hate change. Reminds me of how NBA people used to think that the key to a championship was a dominant center. If the QB avoids hits (BIG IF) and make throws, the system will continue to be successful.
Re: Official Super Bowl Game Thread - Baltimore vs. SF
Idk why the 9ers threw a fade to Crabtree. If they did a regular play and let Kaepernick go through his reads, he possibly could've ran or found an open man.
Re: Official Super Bowl Game Thread - Baltimore vs. SF
I can bitch about the no call.
I can moan about the play call on that last drive.
I can kick and scream all I want.
None of that will solve the fact that the 49'ers didn't show up until the last 25 minutes. Idk if they bought into their own hype, or if the Falcon game was their SB but whatever the cause they found out they can't just be there and win the game.
The fact that they caught up pisses me off even more, if they handled business in the first half we're good right now, but they didn't.
Congrats Ravens, you absolutely deserved it, we did not.

Yeah, I'm guessing there were gamblers everywhere losing their shit when they realized the Ravens were going to purposely take a safety. We were discussing the possibility in the timeout, and came to the conclusion it was probably the best option, but none of us gamble so that didn't cross anyone's mind at the time. I'd love to know an estimate on how much money was lost on that.

Anyone think the power outage was on purpose? Seemed a little to coincidental that one team was getting blown out, and viewers were probably tuning out.
