Default Bench Metta World Peace

He can help this team more off the bench as a power forward. He is not a good interior defender anymore, and he is jacking up and missing way too many threes.

We need to start either Darius Morris or Jodie Meeks to take advantage of all those open threes Kobe is creating with his penetration into the lane. They are both more capable of defending on the perimeter and are shooting threes at a higher percentage than Metta this year.

We need Metta to come off the bench and bang with the big boys on the interior. That is how we can help this team.

Metta has been consistent and played very well this year. I don't see the point of bringing him off the bench. If this team brings Metta and Gasol off the bench I would view the season as over. That's basically giving up. Metta can still ball. He's been bringing it.

He may have improved, but he's still inconsistent. The open shots he missed last night were atrocious. Jameson has been playing just as good as he has.

I'm not going to bench a guy because he has an off shooting night here or there. So does Kobe, Lebron, and Durant... they don't get benched. Not saying Artest is on that level, but I am saying everybody can have an off night. Artest wasn't that terrible. He wasn't good but he's still having a very good season. Jamison instead of Artest??? That just made me lol, seriously. Talk about inconsistent.

It seems like a lot of people don't think these things out very deeply

kkinchen, you recently just created a threat titled "start darius morris", with ron artest being the focus of the conversation. Please refer back to that thread for further discussion.
