Our defense is still elite, and our rebounding is also elite. We have so many more guards that can create their own shot, plus Noah/Jimmy have truly turned a corner this year. This Bulls team is nothing like last years, or the one before that one, that got to the ECF.
Not saying they havn't improved but it's one superstar and role players and that won't beat two superstars and one very good all-star.

Rose didn't struggle to blow by LeBron. You obviously didn't understand what you were watching.
The Heat had no respect for the other Bulls players, they sagged off many of the perimeter players (Bogans, Brewer, even Korver) they didn't respect them, none could create off the dribble or finish at the rim v.s. elite athletes and defenders (Bron, Wade, even Chalmers)
Rose was the only one. Rose couldn't attack the rim the way he did v.s. the Pacers and Hawks, because everyone was focal pointing Rose drive to the basket. They wanted Rose doing step backs and shooting jumpers. Miami absolutely played Rose perfectly. I'm giving them the credit.
It was NOT however Rose and Bron on an island. The four other defenders weren't being distracted or held accountable for any other Chicago offensive threat. The rim was being defended well by Bosh, Haslem, and Anthony..
Bron took advantage of the situation dealt. Contest Rose jump shot. NOT THAT BIG of a deal. And certainly not the hand cuffs the way Miami / LeBron fans act like he put on Rose.
It was a situational defensive setting, and Bron did his job. It wasn't some superman effort taking on a player individually, with no help defense. It was Miami's help defense that shunned Rose's penetration game. Rose is so quick he is allowed to look past his man defender, and worry more about the other layers of defense.
In those 2011 playoffs, he had no where to go off the dribble. Seeing as how he had to be a playmaker and scorer to beat Miami, he was forced to hoist jumpers that were being contested by a top five defensive player in the league. And probably that season the best perimeter defender in the game.
What else do you seriously suggest Rose could've done? He was seriously handicapped by the talent on his roster.
Great post Money. My sentiments exactly. Unfortunately, I see this is gonna go down as one of those myths that people want to believe in order to prop up James legacy more.
This video shows how the Heat played Rose that series. Constant trapping. Not even worrying about the other players on the team. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks7ZQULwAxU#

thats just to give you a perspective of how overrated the heat are.
In case you forgot, that Celtic team didn't have KG.
Re: as a Bulls fan, im more worried about OKC than the HEAT
That's too bad... because the path to the 2013 title goes through Miami, not some weak-sauce small market OKC team that got crushed by them in the Finals last year and then proceeded to make their team worse by trading a budding superstar just to save money.

Stupid worthless thread, sounds more like empty false bravado by the OP.
The Heat are on another level right now, get that through that thick skull of yours and stop embarrassing us Bulls fans who aren't delusional homers for fvcks sake.
