Ah yea, sorry... i forgot, i remember now i figured out it was The Guess Who some years ago on youtube after thinking it was Jimi Hendrix the whole time with all the "american woman" songs pointing to him (why the hell do people do that? did Jimi do a cover of this song or jammed with The Guess Who or something?)....
We've got people posting lists... and lists of untitled links, as if I am going to go through each one just to see what they are. This has been a pet peeve of mine for years.
I'd say my choice for best song of the 60's would be: Sittin' on The Dock of the Bay by the late Otis Redding.
I'm sure this powerful song has been posted multiple times in this very thread and rightfully so. His voice and the way the way he sings this song makes you truly believe that the loneliness and the exasperation is real. The way he sings makes you feel those same feelings.
