Default No #1 option center on any team this season

When was the last time the NBA had a season without a center being a #1 option on his team?

P.S. Jefferson in Utah isn't one. If he was a #1 option then he wouldn't be in discussion to be traded.

What do trade rumors have to do with being the #1 option?

DeMarcus Cousins for the most part has been the Kings #1 option from the C spot.

I edit my post right before yours got posted.

Number-wise, yea I guess he is but like I said, if you're likely to be traded because there are younger back-ups who have more potential than you then you're not a true #1 option in the first place.

From what I seen of Kantar I don't beleive he has more potential( I could be wrong) than Big Al, Favours is more a PF im my mind.

Maybe I should clarify.

Being the best player on a bottom-feeding team, you're not truly established as a #1 option yet.

Monroe, Cousins, Pek, all have potential but they're really not established #1 option yet in my opinion.

Gotta be in the playoff or playoff hunt.

Bynum would have been that guy but he's out since forever.

Brook Lopez can be argued to be the number one option for the Nets. It's between him or Joe Johnson. In the last two games he had the final shot and was the only one who shot in the last minute. Other than that, we are in the point guard era. Dwight can average 25/15 in the right situation but playing with Kobe is the worst thing to ever happen to his career.

Brook Lopez is the #1 option on the Nets now IMO.

What is the point in making this thread if your just going to make up these stupid rules when someone proves you wrong? Correct, there are no contenders who's first option is a center, but there are certainly teams who's first option is their center.

Al Jefferson is in trade rumours because he is a FA at the end of year and potentially the best player on the market. The Jazz want to get pieces back rather to lose him for nothing.
