That's an excuse. All I see is teams figured his scrub ass out, and without SVG's system he is just a roleplayer.

PRODUCT OF SVG'S SYSTEM.

Dwights entire career he hasn't been setting good picks, or displaying basic post moves. Injury has nothing to do with lack of skill and fundamentals.

What had Pau done before he came to LA? Ariza? Shanon Brown? Earl Clark?

All-Star that led a few 50-win teams I believe.

zero playoff wins I believe, with multiple teammates calling him out for being soft in the post season.

I think I remember those zo comparisons. And not everyone was saying he was better than zo. Maybe like half of us. The smart half, me included, said prime zo was better.

The 2007-2008 Lakers were in first place when they got Gasol. I don't want to downplay Gasol' importance but it's not as if LA was terrible and Gasol swooped in and saved them. What did Kobe do after Shaq and before Gasol? He did a fine job getting a less than stacked team back to the top of the NBA.

Anyone who is trying to hang this season on Kobe has an agenda and isn't watching the games.

Best player in the league can't even lead his team out of the shitty Eastern conference?

GTFO, he kept getting the ball low and getting it swiped out of his hands in those days too, stop rewriting history.

Howard got exposed in the 2009 finals, everyone said he's young and would improve, 4 years later and no visible improvement, still can't set a screen, his work rate went down and he's still mentally weak, his hook shot is still a prayer and he still hardly ever goes baseline even when it's wide open.

He's regressed and he doesn't have the untapped potential excuse to fall back on anymore because he's 28, supposedly entering his prime and still the most mechanical and predictable post player in the NBA today, who averages less then the league average in scoring from post up opportunities.

Led the Lakers to the lottery in his prime.

Asked the Lakers to trade him.

Asked the Lakers to trade Andrew Bynum for Jason Kidd.

And since he got Gasol...

Allowed the Lakers to lose a NBA Finals home game after being up 24 points at half-time (NBA record).

Allowed the Lakers to lose a deciding NBA Finals game by 39 points (NBA record).

Led the NBA in all-time missed shots.

See, he's done a lot. Stop being a hater.
