Default Housing

I am moving to AZ on a whim. Theres a job that I have applied for and been invited to train for after a phone interview. The work itself is not important, but the schedule is: 8 days on, 6 days off.

During my 8 days on, I am gone. Away. Not around at all, not returning home.

And it would seem a shame to pay a full months rent for something I am only gonna use half the month.

Any bright ideas? Total a month I am hoping for less than 300 in the Pho/Mesa area. Would those sober living arrangements ($100 / week) be a somewhat feasible option? Camping in the national forests? What do you got?

How long is your total training scheme for? If it's going to be 8 days on, 6 days off for 3-4 months, then I think a hotel might actually come in handy. Obviously negotiate around with other ones in the area too.
