Default Kyrie Irving still bothered by his knee

The Akron Beacon Journal reports that Cavaliers guard Kyrie Iriving said after Wednesday's game against Utah that his bruised right knee is still bothering him and will likely hinder him for the season’s final six weeks. “It is what it is,” Irving said. “The only way I would get better is if I sit out for the rest of the season, and I’m not doing that.” Irving said he can’t hurt it any worse unless someone hits him on the knee. “And I pray to God that doesn’t happen,” he said. On Thursday,
coach Byron Scott said Irving might be shut down again. Scott wants to talk to the training staff for an evaluation.
Analysis: It sounds like Irving will continue to play through the knee pain, but Scott might have the final say. We'll continue to follow what happens with Irving, but for now plan on him being active in all leagues. The Cavs are out of playoff contention, but Irving seems intent on staying on the court, which is a good thing for Fantasy owners.
