A suit is a must for every man, one can get a better quality suit for about $350 on sale in some dept stores. They won't look or feel as cheap, you won't have as many hassles returning or dealing with other customer service issues either.

There's some truth in this post, but it is more towards dating than interviewing. Fit is incredibly more important than price tag.

zara are probably the only decent cheap suits I would buy. you live in new york though, you should be able to find some sample sails and take advantage of that.

Actually I wouldn't recommend any particular budget franchise store at all, since the quality of their stock is wildly inconsistent and varies from suit to suit. One Zara suit is not the next Zara suit. Just visit a bunch of different ones in an afternoon and check the quality of the suits yourself.

It's not actually hard to make a reasonable guess: Look at the fabrics, feel the fabrics, look at the stitching, the finish on buttons and pockets. Trust me, take your time checking those things and you won't walk away with the worst, cheapest looking suit.

And bring your girl or bro to check for the right fit.

i still prefer armani/dolce/ted baker suits, but this isn't bad for a relatively cheap suit.

Indochino looks ****ing sick. Those suits look ridiculously nice.

Anyways, I got a couple suits at Men's Wearhouse recently. I'm a young single dude who has weddings to go to, presentations to give and various other occasions.

So I bought a nice grey suit and a charcoal grey suit at Men's Wearhouse. Also bought a navy blazer and another plaid, mustard type blazer.

Got a good deal on them all and they all fit me very well. The employees there were awesome as well. Very willing to help you out.

Gonna try out Indochino though. I ****ing love wearing suits.

I have many different types of suits. Suits are a mans best friend.

Always look at the material on the inside not the outside.

Men's warehouse suck big time.

The zipper area makes your pickle pop out.

The cutting is very very poor.

You really should try macy's when there are sales. You can easily get a suit for under 180.

I got a hugo boss suit at macys for 380 bucks.

I used to work at Macy's. If there is a sale going on, you can get a Calvin Klein or Kenneth Cole Reaction suit for $200-$250.

For something slightly more casual, you can get a INC or Perry Ellis suit for around $170.
