Nevertheless, I actually enjoyed the NBA Slam Dunk Contest before watching this D-League one but it makes me appreciate it more since the D-League one are renowned to display more spectacular dunks (except this years).

If it sucked it's becuz james white wasn't in it anymore.

So James White is responsible for both dunk contests not living up to expectations.
