Default Someone enlighten me on Tyrus Thomas' skills

As to what discernable skills Tyrus Thomas has besides uncanny athleticism? He's devoid of a jumper, post game is non-existent, he doesn't look like an especially good team defender... what is it about him that had everybody so horny? What can he do besides run and dunk?

Wondering that myself. I though he would fit the mold of a lot of the running bigs nowadays (KMart, Amare, etc) but every time I see a Bulls game, he doesn't really show anything. But then again, freak athletes like him usually come around.

Both of those guys have legit jump shots. Thomas is lucky to catch iron on anything he puts up outside of four feet.

He has a good jumpshot.. I havent seen him play too much with the Bulls but I saw a ton of games at LSU and he had a pretty decent jumper.. It's just that we didn't need him shooting jumpers, we needed his blocking/low post game more

he got alot of hype playing at LSU along side that one dude...big baby or whatever his nickname was. he would demand the double leaving tyrus open for easy dunks and putbacks.

Well, his post game stinks, and blocking is another side of the ball, so why is he yet to actually take a shot when open from fifteen feet? If he has a jumper, he'd be using it to get his ass off the bench.

Tyrus Thomas stinks........I liked him in college too, matter of fact I loved LSU. Big Baby moreso than Tyrus but I was Tyrus fan before that coast to coast dunk on Duke.

But his game is just garbage. There's only so much you can learn when you lack hand-eye coordination. All he does is jump high, and I don't know why I didn't notice that in college.
