Serious question: Are you capable of thinking for yourself? Why are you telling me to look at other people's lists?

Nas Illmatic is on peoples lists genius. When I ask you to look at peoples lists you will see what albums tend to frequent those lists and get recognized as hip hop classic albums. What was so hard to understand, grasp about this?

So some critic's (who likely has the same 80s/90s bias that you have) opinion should mean something to me? The fact that he lists an album as a classic does not mean it's actually better than the bevy of great albums released in the 2000s.

when you make a list of your greats? and nobody agrees? your list is garbage pal

your opinion is basically not valid... you can have "your own personal list" but it doesnt carry any weight with anybody but you

and while Im on this subject...

People who listened to hip hop in the 80s are same people who listened to it in the 90s WTF?

there arent any hip hop fans running around saying Kurtis Blow is the goat rapper.lol

they are the same groups of people and there isnt a dispute over the 90s vs. 80s

(btw) finish your homework and go listen to Black Moon

Classic albums in hip hop history. You can sit there in spite like some snot nosed kid but if you go around looking for a list of some of the best hip hop albums of all time? Check the f*cking date slapnutz. The next year Biggie Ready to Die, Nas Illmatic and Outkast Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik dropped. 3 more hip hop classics of all time.

Oh the year before 93 Dr Dre the Chronic dropped.

So again go do your homework on hip hop classic albums. Then check the dates.

And we not going to get into the hot singles because there were album that dropped that werent classic but had major impact singles. Like Onyx Bacdafukup. That was a culture change group as people wanted to dress and rock bald hairstyles much like you kids want to wear skinny jeans (yet u want them to sag), baby gap hoodies. Males getting yeast infections and shyt.

90's will forever be the golden era of hip hop. Even the videos you saw on tv and music you heard on the radio was more of the varied kind. It wasnt perfect but it wasnt limited to certain artists on every station, same videos replayed. Guys like krs one actually got stuff played.

15yrs from now your generation will be saying Kobe was every bit as good as MJ.

90s produced some iconic names as well as albums.

Just because white execs now pimp out "artists" now for mass production and higher earning it doesn't matter it "better".
