How do you know that deal was available. Its not fantasy basketball. Its apparent that OKC and Memphis dont want to pay into the luxury tax.
If you have an entire bench and you can't trade ONE player for a 2nd round draft pick in 2014, your roster is incredibly sad.... Especially when Boston just acquired Jordan Crawford for a guy on a 1 year deal and a season ending ACL injury lmaoooo

Your logic escapes me with this one. How is that relevant to the Knicks. Did the Knicks need another guard?

I will say it was a sigh of relief that Kenyon Martin appears to be in good shape.

I dont even see what was funny either, the coach and star player said "no trades".

Grunwald after the deadline called Shumpert "untouchable".

This is pathetic. When Kenyon Martin is needed to help save your season, you know you haven't done your job as a GM

You wanted Joey though? We got him now. Save the season no but this team is desperate we need as many bodies as possible. Hopefully this can move Melo to SF but doesnt solve the SG problem though but lets see what happens.

I do think it can help Chandler though in the long run. (See my SWITCHING post).

Only because it's like a last resort. Like I said before, I'm not against the signing. I AM against putting yourself in a position where you NEED to sign Kenyon Martin rather than it being a luxury. For instance, the Heat signed Birdman. They didn't HAVE to sign him to contend. They did it to make their team even better. We HAD to sign Martin. We couldn't even remotely be considered threats with the roster we had.

That's because their three is better than any of our three.

The sooner you guys admit that, you'd feel much better about it.

miami brought in guys who were considered done and untouchable as well...regardless of age.

Shard was done...but in Miami he shoots 40% from three.

Ray Allen looked old in Boston...now his shooting is above 40% from three as well.

no one wanted to touch Birdman...miami does and he contributes.

These are not youngsters they added.

but their core makes it easier for their role players to perform well.

Ours do not.

No one is disputing that their 3 is better. Their 3 makes others around them better as well. They did draft ok as well.

Miami is a championship Organization the Knicks Organization is a joke.

They aren't a joke for adding old dudes though, Miami did that as well.

Those guys are old as well.

We have an inefficient scorer, a forward who can't go for 30 minutes anymore and a center who is best on one side of the floor soaking up the entire cap.

Once eveyone comes to that understanding then they will feel better.

You know Knickscity has to be the Glen Grunwald apologist lol Notice how nothing he said had ANYTHING to do with what I was talking about. Yes Knickscity...we all know. Their 3 is better than our 3. That has nothing to do with the fact that we RELY on Kenyon Martin to be good for us to be respectable come playoff time.

Ray Allen looked old but he was still WAY better than Kidd. Not even close.

Furthermore, the fact that you KNOW their big 3 is better than ours, why go out and get a bench that is inferior?

because you couldn't add anything better, we've had this discussion from day one.

How do you have two of the top 5 salaries in the entire nba and then complain about the support?
